We have 6 similar type shelving units/2 different brands and know how to assemble them. Even though we are experienced with this type shelving we read and followed the directions. When installing the first lower shelf we knew there was a problem...it wouldn't go down over the plastic wedges that hold the shelf in place...and yes the plastic wedges top was facing up. Turns out the shelves need to be installed upside down meaning the edge along the outside of the shelf faces up. Some people may like that because it'll prevent contents from falling off the shelf but the instructions should specify this which they didn't. Also, after studying pics of this unit the best I could tell is they show the shelf edge down. Next, the casters are okay...not the best quality and don't roll smoothly. What I do like about the unit is the size and is fairly sturdy.The dimensions stated are accurate but the pictures lead you to believe this unit is much bigger than it actually is. It's only a little over 11 inches deep. Have you ever seen a microwave that would fit (with room to spare) on an 11" shelf?Fit and finish are nice. All pieces are included. Pay careful attention and count the notches as you're assembling. It's quite easy to be off by just a notch and not realize it, especially if you've got it on its side.All in all, it's a bit flimsy. You don't want to put something on it like a coffee maker that you actually plan to use daily. For basic storage, it's fine. You could also anchor it to the wall without too much trouble, but these types of racks are *specifically* supposed to be free standing and stable, and this just isn't. Even if you load the bottom with a lot of weight, this thing still feels like it could be tipped very easily. Definitely not recommended if you have small children or if you don't intend to anchor it.Other thoughts: I have a set of the real deal restaurant-grade wire racks that I bought from a restaurant supply store. They cost about double what any of these Amazon racks cost and they weigh a ton, but if you want something that is more than just flimsy shelving, that's the way to go.Putting this shelf system together was much easier than the align and screw-type shelf. The pictures on Amazon looked bigger than it turned out to be. Since I’m construction-challenged, I did have to redo some of the connections until I figured out the two-part shelf holders needed to be pushed a little so they would snug under the edge of the hole in the shelf. I did decide to use it for smaller containers of fabric than my other shelving and it is working out fine. The directions are translated from Chinese literally and some of the wording made me laugh! The diagrams were the most helpful. I wouldn’t use this for a book shelf. Eventually, it may end up in the garage for Christmas decorations...who knows?I dumped the small, old shelf that I had and changed for this new and super handy organizer. It was able to hold a lot of things for the whole family. We bought it for kitchen pantry shelving and will use it for dry goods (cereals, rice, dried beans, pasta, etc.). The dimensions were spot on and it fits in it's intended spot. I enjoy the adjustable leg base, it ensures that it will be level, even if your floor is not. There is some wiggle to the final shelf, even with items on the shelves. Although it wiggles, I don't feel that it will tip over. This shelf is stylish enough that it can be left out as part of contemporary décor. The finish is clean and shiny and gives a sleek, industrial look.I would easily recommend this product for anyone looking to further tidy up and organizer their home.I have been using this product daily for a few weeks now. I have not had reason to move it yet. Everything else seems great. It is sturdy.I got this to put in the kitchen between the stove and refrigerator. I like that the last shelf is above the floor. It's light enough I can move it in and out to clean underneath. We have a small kitchen and it adds more storage for canned good and pots and pans. There were some parts that didn't fit well together and they had to be handled roughly to make them fit and it caused scratches on it but it has been holding together nicely and is pretty sturdy.I agree with another reviewer that the orientation of the shelf with the lip on the upper side of the shelf is a negative for me due to usability and also load capacity. I should have paid closer attention to that detail.The unit itself is not that sturdy if you leave out bottom shelves like I have. If I were to grab and lift an item over the lip (again, my fault for not paying attention to the unit's design), the unit sways. There was already a wire that was detached/broken prior to weight testing and became very apparent when I placed an item on that particular shelf.I don't have much choice for weight distribution since my items are large and fairly heavy. Makes me worried my items will fall due to load and the main reason I am returning the item.Assembly was difficult since the clips don't fully click onto the poles. I have had a few of them fly off when trying to secure the shelves.I would like to note that the plastic circular pieces are just spacers and for the shelves to not move during shipping. They are not broken parts of the unit.I am so happy with my purchase and very glad I went ahead and bought this, as I was hesitant at first given where I needed to stand it, but it turned out perfect. As you can see from my photo it came packaged neatly and the assembly was very easy, I put it together in less than hour, the instructions were very user friendly written and visual, of which I really liked. It's sturdy enough for my intended purpose. The storage capacity worked great however It could have been a couple of more inches wider for a little more space; but with the current width it works and my counter tops are now cleared, thanks to this shelf. Ich habe eine 5.000€ Designer-Badewanne in Matt-weiß und habe dieses Produkt am Badewannenrand aufgelegt, als ich es beim Putzen etwas verschoben habe, waren genau an denen Stellen, an denen es verrückt wurde dunkelbraune Kratzer. Es hat wirklich ewig gedauert und mehrere Spezial-Reinigungsprodukte, bis ich diese Kratzer wieder weggebracht hatte.
