I was looking for an inexpensive iron for my college going son and this one works well. It’s compact and lightweight but it’s not a travel iron. It holds water and heat well. It doesn’t have automatic shutoff so be sure to unplug it.This gets the job done! It was cheap, lightweight, and small enough to be stored anywhere. I just wish that there was an arrow or some designation on which setting you are on while turning the dial. This is the only draw back thus far.I am much happier with this iron than a much more expensive iron I had purchased that just died. It was NOT handed directly to a resident, so I'm more unhappy with amazon's delivery. But for a seamstress, the iron is great - not too much heat, you have control over the steam being on or off, and it doesn't have an automatic shut off while it's just sitting there, so I don't have to wait for it to heat up when I am moving from project to project. We'll just have to see how long it lasts. Will update. The easy filling water reservoir. This is a very decent looking and simple iron which is what I was looking for with steam and multiple settings. Goes on quickly And easily ironed My cotton shirt, dresses and shirts. This is your regular every day iron. It is a compact size comparatively, but I would not take this in my suitcase for a short trip, but I didn’t buy it for that purpose. I usually don’t iron anything these days but with this new iron I will.I live in a dorm and needed an iron that could be small and easy to use. This one is the perfect size. Its lightweight, small and easy to use!It works exactly as described! After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance on this iron. I needed something lightweight for crafting. This iron does the job wonderfully. One button switch to change from dry to steam. When you are on the dry iron, you can still push a button for a shot of steam. I did not buy this for travel, but I do not see anywhere to change voltage so I think it is US only. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.
